Synchronous Step-Down MOSFET Drivers 
  

The ZL1505 is an integrated high-speed, high-current N-channel MOSFET driver for synchronous step-down DC-DC conversion applications. Optimized for use with Zilker Labs’ Digital-DC PWM controllers, the ZL1505 includes dual PWM inputs to enable dynamic dead-time control
for optimizing efficiency over a wide range of operating conditions. The ZL1505 combines a 5 A, 0.5 W low-side driver and a 3 A, 0.8 W high-side driver to support high stepdown
buck applications, and an integrated 30 V bootstrap Schottky diode to minimize external components.

The ZL1505 operates from a 4.5 V to 7.5 V input voltage and supports a wide -40 °C to 125 °C junction temperature range. The ZL1505 also implements a unique adjustable gate drive strength mechanism that allows the user to tailor the output current on both drivers to optimize performance for a wide range of input/output voltages, load currents,
switching frequencies and power MOSFETs.  

The ZL1505 enables high-current, high-efficiency
DC-DC converter designs when used with Zilker
