6A Digital-DCTM Integrated Synchronous Step-Down DC-DC Converter with Power Management

The ZL2106 is a complete 6 A digital power conversion and management solution that combines an efficient,
synchronous DC-DC buck converter with integrated power MOSFET switches and key power and fault management functions in a tiny 6 x 6 mm package. This solution is ideal for space constrained applications requiring up to 6 A continuous output current. The ZL2106 delivers efficiency, flexibility and ease-of-use while eliminating the need for programming. Power management features such as digital soft-start delay and ramp, sequencing, tracking and margining are easily configured by simple pin-strap or resistor connections or through an on-chip serial interface. The ZL2106 uses the
PMBusTM protocol for host controller communication and the Digital-DC bus for seamless interoperability between Zilker Labs devices to provide a complete digital power solution for complex systems requiring multiple power domains,
monitoring and fault management.

The ZL2106 combines an efficient digital power conversion architecture with comprehensive power management features.
