Digital-DC Synchronous Step-Down
DC-DC Controller with Drivers and POLA/DOSA Trim

The ZL2005P is an innovative digital power conversion and management  IC that combines an efficient, synchronous DCDC buck converter, adaptive MOSFET drivers and key power and thermal management functions in a 6 x 6 mm package.  Zilker Labs’ Digital-DC™ technology delivers highly efficient performance with integrated power management capabilities in an easy-to-use product that can operate over a wide range of applications. The ZL2005P’s flexible architecture allows a single device to be used in applications requiring a wide range of input/output voltages and load currents, and its high integration makes it ideal for space-restricted designs.  A special VADJ pin allows the output voltage to be set using a single resistor in compliance with industry-standard POLA and DOSA methods, enabling ZL2005P-based power module designs to deliver higher-performance drop-in replacements for traditional analog power modules. The ZL2005P can be used with other Digital-DC devices to provide a complete power design for complex systems requiring multiple power domains, sequencing and fault management.
