What is Digital-DCTM?
Zilker Labs' patented Digital-DC technology enables the combination of a world-class power conversion circuit with comprehensive power management logic, resulting in innovative power management and conversion ICs that provides the efficiency of analog converters while delivering the flexibility of a digital power solution. Additionally, Zilker Labs' ICs are easily configurable through simple pinstrap selection or through the on-board serial port. No programming is required.

How are Zilker Labs’ products different from other digital power devices?
Zilker Labs' unique mixed-signal implementation delivers the efficiency of traditional analog approaches with the scalability and control of digital implementations. The ZL2005 is the only digital power solution that matches the efficiency of traditional analog implementations. Unlike pure digital solutions, Zilker Labs' chips have a power conversion (PWM) loop that can operate at a fast rate (Fsw = 2 MHz) while still maintaining high efficiency.
