Al Schuele - Chairman Al is a General Partner at Sevin Rosen Funds, and is a high-tech industry veteran of over 30 years. He has held executive and sales positions in several semiconductor companies including Benchmarq, Crystal, Cypress, and Mostek. Al has played key roles in major mergers and acquisitions and has worked extensively in Asian markets. Before joining SRF, Al was CEO of Benchmarq Microelectronics, managing the company through the turbulent Asian financial crisis before negotiating a merger with Unitrode Corporation, where he then served as president and COO.
Bob Bridge Bob is Zilker Labs' co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer. He has been in management, marketing and engineering roles at semiconductor and system companies for 30 years, including serving as founding CEO at three technology companies. Bob has also served as an entrepreneur in residence at Austin Ventures, vice president of marketing at Agere (the network processor startup) and vice president and general manager for communications ICs at Crystal Semiconductor/Cirrus Logic. Additionally, Bob has held engineering and management positions at Motorola, AT&T corporate headquarters and AT&T Bell Labs. Bob holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas.
John Kim John Kim is Managing Director for H.I.G. Ventures, focused primarily on Internet, semiconductor and wireless investments. Previously, John was a co-founder, interim CEO and board director of Cooligy, a semiconductor cooling manufacturer. He also was the COO of a 100+ person eCommerce portal, General Manager of a semiconductor equipment manufacturer and Business Development Director at a product development software company. He began his career at Booz, Allen & Hamilton where he consulted on operations strategy to Fortune 500 companies. John received an MS and BS with Phi Beta Kappa honors in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA degree with distinction from Harvard Business School.
Jeffrey P. McCarthy Jeff McCarthy joined North Bridge Venture Partners in December 1998. Prior to joining North Bridge, he was the President and CEO of New Oak Communications, a leading provider of extranet access switches. Once New Oak was acquired by Bay Networks, a Nortel Networks line of business, Jeff served as Vice President and General Manager of the Access Division. Prior to New Oak Jeff was the Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Cadia Networks, a developer of ATM concentrator products for the service provider marketplace. Prior to Cadia, Jeff spent eight years at Wellfleet Communications/Bay Networks where he held various senior management positions, including Vice President of Carrier Operations. Jeff is a graduate of Northeastern University, School of Management (Magna Cum Laude), and received his MBA (Magna Cum Laude) from Bentley College.
A. Travis White Travis has more than 35 years of experience managing global enterprise, finance and corporate operations. Travis was most recently CEO and President of Centillium Communications, Inc., a public fabless semiconductor company focused on chip-set solutions for high-speed DSL applications. Prior to that, Travis was President of Sony Semiconductor of America and a Senior Vice President of Sony Semiconductor Company (Japan). He has also served in several executive management positions at LSI Logic Corporation and in various engineering, manufacturing and operations and planning positions at Texas Instruments Corporation, Honeywell and Fairchild Camera. Travis holds a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences and Chemistry from the University of Texas, El Paso.
